I was on a walk with my uncle who was visiting from Sweden when we came to this bend in the road. I had been photographing this area for a while but hadn’t yet noticed this scene in this particular light. A slow shutter speed combined with camera movement gives its soft, painterly feel.

In this image, the sun is behind us and is reflecting off the trees in the background and the lake that is just beyond them.
